Tony Mart Continues Reunion Party With Billy Walton Band

The classic rocker performs 8 p.m. tonight on the Ocean City Music Pier.

The” real feel” of summertime at the Jersey Shore will be experienced at the Tony Mart Reunion Party and concert 8 p.m. Saturday, June 23, on the on the Boardwalk between Eighth and Ninth streets.

In addition to Tony Mart nostalgia, meet-and-greets with Tony Mart celebrities, a Tony Mart Dance Contest, Tony Mart Trivia and a performance by Sweet Sensations featuring Iris Nadel, an original Tony Mart barmaid, the evening's headliner, Billy Walton, will dazzle the band with his phenomenal guitar renditions of Jimi Hendrix, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Bruce Springsteen and the famous songs from “Eddie & the Cruisers,” the classic rock ‘n' roll movie filmed at the Ocean City beach and Tony Mart’s 30 years ago.

Tonight's concert is part of a series recalling the classic rock of the iconic Somers Point nightclub that closed in the 1980s.

Also appearing will be the New Orleans piano sounds of Arthur Migliazza. 

Doors open at 7 p.m.  The show will run from 8 to 10:15 p.m. with continuous entertainment — just like the days at Tony Mart’s.

Tickets are available at the Ocean City Music Pier Box Office or they can be purchased at the door. All seats are just $20. Seating is open.
