Tornado and Flood Watches in Effect on Monday
The National Weather Service issues advisories for severe weather on June 10.

In a 2:44 p.m. advisory, the National Weather Service issued a rare tornado watch for seven counties in southern New Jersey, including Cape May County.
The watch is in effect until 10 p.m. Monday, and indicates the potential exists for the development of a tornado (a "warning" would indicate a tornado has already been spotted or is imminent). The watch is in effect for Cape May, Atlantic, Cumberland, Salem, Burlington, Gloucester and Camden counties.
A front moving in from the west is meeting a warm front already blanketing the region and causing the potentially hazardous weather.
