Wanda Kline Exhibits at Arts Center in January

The popular local artist brings her paintings to the Ocean City Arts Center next month.

Wanda Kline, one of Cape May County's most popular painters, brings her work to the Ocean City Arts Center Jan. 6 through Jan. 31.

A "Meet the Artist" reception will be held Friday, Jan. 10, from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

Kline has exhibited her work throughout New Jersey. An art teacher, Kline has conducted workshops in Sante Fe, New Mexico; San Francisco, CA; Maine; Gloucester, Mass.; Tuscany, Italy; and Antibes.

Kline's work is featured in several local galleries and in corporate collections.  She also is a founding member of Ocean City's Fine Arts League.

"We are so proud to have Wanda Kline exhibit her work at the Ocean City Arts Center," Executive Director Rosalyn Lifshin said. "She is an excellent painter, in many mediums, and has also excelled in pottery."

A graduate of Boston University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Fine Arts, Kline is a Professional New Jersey Artist of the Year Award Winner (2009), and member of the Art Teachers of New Jersey Association.

The Ocean City Arts Center is located in the Community Center at 1735 Simpson Avenue.  It is open 9 am to 9 pm, Monday through Friday, and 9 am to 3pm on Saturday.  For further information go to the Center's website at www.oceancityartscenter.org.
