Josephine Cardillo told NorthJersey.com that the baby was born a few days early. The family was coming home from New Year's Eve dinner at a relative's house and getting Chiara ready for bed when they left for Englewood Hospital. They got there at about 10:30 p.m., according to the report.

Cardillo said in the report that she chose the name Lucia because she feels like it complements her older daughter's name.
