The Superintendent said he did not know how the table fell, if someone was pulling on it or if it just collapsed on its own.

A 7-year-old Bergen County boy died Wednesday after police say a folding table collapsed and hit him.

The incident happened at New Milford’s Berkley Street Elementary School, where the Brenden Jordan, a Gibbs Elementary School student, was at a New Milford Recreation Commission soccer program, NorthJersey.com reported.

New Milford’s Superintendent told NorthJersey.com he did not know how the table fell, if someone was pulling on it or if it just collapsed on its own.
