Bergen County Woman Physically Assaulted Child, Prosecutor Says
A Cliffside Park woman was arrested for having assaulted a child on Sunday, said the Bergen County Prosecutor's Office.
CLIFFSIDE PARK, NJ — A Cliffside Park woman was arrested Tuesday for assaulting a child over the weekend, prosecutors said.
Ceily C. Sunun-Miranda, 24, of Cliffside Park was charged with second-degree aggravated assault and second-degree endangering the welfare of a child, said the Bergen County Prosecutor's Office.
Prosecutors said that on Tuesday, the New Jersey Division of Child Protection and Permanency contacted the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office Special Victims Unit regarding the alleged physical abuse of a juvenile.

An investigation by the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office and the Cliffside Park Police Department determined that Sunun-Miranda had physically assaulted a child in Cliffside Park on Sunday, prosecutors said.
She was arrested in Paramus and taken to the Bergen County Jail to await a first appearance in Bergen County Superior Court in Hackensack, prosecutors said.
