Cops: Brooklyn Pair Used Stolen Credit Card, Assaulted Paramus Officer
Paramus Officer Keith Bland was treated for facial injuries.
A pair from Brooklyn used a stolen credit card to purchase nearly $4,000 worth of merchandise from Lord & Taylor before the female assaulted a Paramus Police officer while trying to make her escape last week, police said Tuesday.
Paramus Officer Keith Bland received a report of a stolen credit card being used to make a purchase and travelled to the store to investigate.
Once there, Bland located Tyairie Greene, 22, and Anthony Battle, 25, and, according to police, Greene assaulted the officer when confronted, which allowed her alleged accomplice to flee on foot.
