Cops: Foot Chase in Paramus Led to Cocaine Bust
Two men from upstate New York remain at Bergen County Jail.
Paramus cops charged two men for possession of cocaine and marijuana following a short foot chase behind stores along Route 17 south Thursday afternoon, police said Friday.
Ibn W. Ross was caught by Paramus Police officers Paul Siemon and Doug Ohlendorf behind the Route 17 Guitar Center after he had allegedly fled a 1999 Nissan Maxima which had been stopped on the highway by a Fair Lawn police officer, said Captain Robert Guidetti on Friday.
Police found Ross had attempted to hide a brown plastic bag which contained 3 ounces of cocaine underneath a parked vehicle while trying to flee police, said the captain.
