East Brook Students Hear 'Good Life' Presentation

Middle school students took part in a character education program presented by a nationally recognized speaker.

Students at East Brook Middle School heard from national recognized speaker Timothy Shoemaker this week who gave his presentation "The Good Life" a character education program designed for Red Ribbon week, Respect Week and other pro-social campaigns.

The program has been engineered to overcome the barriers presented by different segments of the student population to deliver a message that directly addresses underlying factors of risky decision making, anti-social acts, and self-destructive behavior.

One goal of the program is to leave audience members with a new perspective
and fill them with motivation to create a positive change.
