Another person wrote, "Praying for your safe return Aunt Velvet."

Her daughter wrote on Wednesday, "Update on Velvet Poveromo: Multiple leads have been followed but all have turned out to be dead ends. However I do appreciate everyone trying to be as helpful as possible. Local shelters were visited by officers and by family - she isn’t in any of them. My aunt went around local businesses in Teaneck, NJ where my mother stated she last was on July 13th (which happens to be what would have been my fathers 65th birthday) — no one has seen or heard from her apparently in that area."

She added, "She would most likely be in the south Hackensack area or Teaneck/englewood area in NJ. At this point we are waiting for the bank to release the info to the police on her government issued Visa card she received her widows benefits on to give us more insight. If you have any information please contact me or Paramus Police Department."

If anyone has any information, they're encouraged to call police at 201-262-4300.
