Hello Kitty Café Truck Returns To Paramus On Saturday

The Hello Kitty Café Truck will return to Paramus on Saturday, bearing all kinds of fun treats inspired by the iconic cartoon cat.

PARAMUS, NJ – The Hello Kitty Café Truck will return to Paramus on Saturday, bearing all kinds of fun treats inspired by the iconic cartoon cat.

The bubblegum-pink food and gift truck will be parked from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. at Westfield Garden State Plaza between the Capital Grille and Uniqlo.

Menu items include a four-piece mini-cake set, a five-piece macaroon set, a three-piece cookie set, an eight-piece madeleine set and a giant Hello Kitty cookie.

Besides sweet treats, the truck sells limited-edition collectibles and exclusive items, such as enamel pins, canvas totes, cushions, headbands, lunchboxes, water bottles and key chains.

Each customer who spends $25 on food purchases will receive a free Hello Kitty Café pink mini-tote bag while supplies last.

Customers should note the truck only accepts debit or credit card payments.

The Hello Kitty Café Truck originally traveled the country as a novelty, as part of a Sanrio food tour in 2014. After the success of the first tour, Sanrio launched a second mobile snack-and-shop truck to meet demand.

Since then, the two trucks have traveled to more than 80 cities across the country, drawing hundreds of Hello Kitty lovers to each stop. For the last two years, the truck has set up shop in Paramus.

After New Jersey, the truck will continue its 2019 East Coast tour with a stop in Boston on Oct. 5. This year, 25 new stops were added to the Hello Kitty Café Truck’s tour, including Tampa, Fla., Henderson, Nev. And Greensboro, North Carolina.
