New Drive-Thru Java Joint To Espresso Love of Coffee In Bergen Co.

BERGEN COUNTY, NJ — A drive-thru espresso chain is expanding to Bergen County, with a passion for creating happy people, and sharing a love of coffee.

The Human Bean, which started its first drive-thru coffee stand in 1998 in Oregon, is opening a new location in Dumont at a date not yet announced, the fast-growing franchise said on its website.

"We're getting ready to open," the website says. "Check back when the dust has settled and we're ready to put your favorite drink in your hands."

The new shop, located at 417 Washington Avenue, is a continuation of an expansion outside of its home state and a strategy to develop the best drive-thru espresso brand, the franchise said.

"We expect to continue growth through approved franchisees that share the same determination and commitment to our goals for this exceptional brand," the franchise added.
