Paramus Farmers' Market Extends 2019 Season

The weekly market will operate through Oct. 30.

PARAMUS, NJ – The Paramus Farmers’ Market will be extending its 2019 season through the end of October.

Borough officials recently approved a request from the weekly market to operate through Oct. 30, giving it an extra two weeks this year, according to Gigi Manasse, who coordinates the market for the Paramus Environmental Commission.

The market is held every Wednesday from 2 to 7 p.m. in the north parking lot of Petruska Park, 475 Farview Avenue, Paramus.

Now in its sixth year, the market has grown to include more than just fresh produce and food. Just a few of the other happenings include pet adoptions and educational outreach from BARK Dog Rescue, story and craft time by the Paramus Public Library and alpacas from Humor Me Farm.

Regular vendors this season include Homespun Chili, Angry Archie’s Lobster Roll Truck, Greenwood Lake Coffee Roasters, Picklelicious, Empanada Mania, Spoon Me Soups, Who Cut The Cheese Lady and Krakus Polish Specialities.
