TV And Football Stars To Attend Bergen County Shopping Center Event With Giveaways
You can meet an NFL quarterback and several TV stars, and sample free food, at a Bergen County shopping center this weekend.

PARAMUS, NJ — The Bergen Town Center shopping mall in Paramus wants customers to see their recent upgrades and try their restaurant offerings. So they've invited a Giants football quarterback and several other celebrities to help.
The two day party, this Friday through Saturday, includes a “Taste of BTC” with food and drink samples, and a Community Celebration.
On Friday, from 3-6 p.m., they planned the "Taste of BTC" featuring celebrity appearances and giveaways including a limited edition BTC Moscow Mule Mug (first 400 shoppers). Pepsi will also be on site offering free samples to go with the restaurant offerings.

Guests can preview some soon-to-open eateries including Tacoria and Ani Ramen and vote for Bergen’s Best Bite.
Also on hand will be New Jersey-based celebrity chef, restauranteur, and television personality, Josh Capon, and Garrett from Z100’s Elvis Duran and the Morning Show.

Saturday Events
On Saturday, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., there will be a series of free events and giveaways.
The day will start with morning yoga and Zumba classes followed by meet-and-greet events back at Center Court, where limited edition BTC swag will be given away. And Linked by Lidya will sell pieces from her permanent jewelry collection.
Celebrities who will appear during that time are:
- NY Giants QB Tommy DeVito (11 a.m. to 1 p.m.) who will play games, pose for selfies, and sign autographs. The first 200 children will also get a mini football.
- Reality TV Star Melissa Gorga of "The Real Housewives of New Jersey" (2-4 p.m.) will be on-site to greet fans with photos and autographs, and share sweet treats from the famous Let’s Sprinkles by MG!
Why Now?
Organizers said that Urban Edge Properties has recently completed "significant upgrades" to Bergen Town Center (BTC), the company’s flagship retail destination.
Improvements include digital signage, new landscaping and new wayfinding to deliver a "modern shopping experience."
They also want to show off two of their newest stores, World Market and K-Beauty Ave.
Customers make more than 11 million visits annually, organizers said. Tenants include Whole Foods, Target and CVS along with smaller companies and restaurants.
