Second Teen Helped 'Plan' Fort Lee High School Stabbing: Prosecutors
A second juvenile had been charged in a stabbing at Fort Lee High school earlier this month.
FORT LEE, NJ — A second teen has been charged in a planned stabbing in a Fort Lee High School stabbing last month, authorities said.
After a student was stabbed in the school bathroom on April 8, one teen was arrested and charged with attempted murder.
Prosecutors announced Friday evening that a second teen will face charges, a 16-year-old.

"Detectives continued their investigation and determined that an additional student was involved in the planning and execution of the incident," prosecutors said Friday
Bergen County had prosecutors said that just before 11 a.m. on that date, a police officer stationed at Fort Lee High School reported a stabbing. Police
from Fort Lee and other towns headed to the school, which was placed on lockdown.

Police found that a male juvenile student had been stabbed in the bathroom with a knife. He was stabbed in the neck, abdomen, back, and arm, causing serious injuries, prosecutors said. The victim was taken to the hospital in critical but serious condition.
The first suspect was charged as a juvenile with first-degree attempted murder, as well as aggravated assault and weapons chargfes.
The second student was arrested Friday and charged with first-degree attempted murder, second-degree aggravated assault, and weapons charges, prosecutors said.
He was transferred to the custody of the Bergen County Juvenile Detention Center to await a closed hearing in Bergen County Superior Court, Family Law Division.
