Virtual Reality Venue 'Dreamscape' Opening In Paramus Next Week
The location, coming to AMC Garden State, will offer full-sensory storytelling in three "realistic and interactive virtual worlds."

PARAMUS, NJ — Virtual reality company "Dreamscape" has chosen Paramus for its first East Coast location, and the venue is coming soon — it will open at the AMC Garden State 16 theatre next week.
By opening in Paramus, Dreamscape will bring free-roaming and free-flying virtual reality entertainment to the East Coast for the first time, officials said.
The venue will open on Friday, Nov. 19 at the Westfield Garden State Plaza.

Dreamscape's locations use full-body tracking technology. They offer "a deep level of immersion," officials said, that combines "the emotional power of Hollywood storytelling with the visceral excitement of great theme-park rides."
Three experiences will be offered at Paramus when it opens:

- Alien Zoo — Travel to a larger than life, intergalactic haven and come face-to-face with endangered alien creatures from across the galaxy.
- Curse of the Lost Pearl: A Magic Projector Adventure — Step through the screen to become part of a movie. Unlock clues, escape treacherous traps, and work together to discover the secret of The Lost Pearl.
- DreamWorks Dragons: Flight Academy — Climb onto a dragon and hold on tight for a swooping, swerving, free-flying rescue mission to the Hidden World and beyond.
Anyone ages 10 and older can participate in the virtual reality experiences, and audiences can buy tickets in advance here.

Dreamscape was founded in 2017 and currently has locations in Los Angeles, Dallas, Dubai and more, and officials said the company is a long-time partner of AMC.
