2 Women Arrested For Prostitution In Parsippany: Cops
Investigation began after police received multiple complaints, authorities said.

Parsippany, N.J. – After receiving multiple calls from citizens in the Parsippany area, two women were arrested for allegedly engaging in prostitution, Parsippany police said.
An investigation began recently when police received multiple complaints, which led them to the Travelodge on Route 46 in Parsippany. During the investigation, Karen Jernark, 38, who is homeless, was placed under arrest for prostitution at the hotel after soliciting from an undercover officer on July 5, police said.
Jernark also had a warrant out of Hawthorne and was released to that jurisdiction after being charged by Parsippany Police.

On July 12, police arrested Kimberly Smith, 23, of the Bronx, New York for prostitution at the Embassy Suites on Parsippany Boulevard and charged with soliciting prostitution from an undercover officer.
