3 More Days Off Added To Parsippany School Calendar

PARSIPPANY, N.J. - The Parsippany-Troy Hills Board of Education wisely allotted five inclement weather days a year ago for the 2015-16 school year.

Then something crazy happened: this year's winter, well, it wasn't much.

Thanks to perfectly timed and minimal snow storms in the winter of 2015-16, the school district didn't need to use any of those five days and is returning them all as days off.

The district had previously announced a long weekend at the end of March, wrapped around Good Friday and Easter Sunday. Now the school board has approved three more days off, including:

• Friday, May 27
• Tuesday, May 31
• Monday, June 13

The district allotted four inclement weather days for the 2016-17 school year.
