'30 Rock' Parsippany Actress Joining Hollywood Walk of Fame
Jane Krakowski, best known for her role in the NBC satirical comedy series "30 Rock," is getting a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

PARSIPPANY, NJ — Jane Krakowski, who was born in Parsippany, will soon be honored on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
The announcement of the Walk of Fame’s 2024 class came this week and includes other New Jersey stars such as Christina Ricci, who grew up in Montclair.
Krakowski is best known for her role as Jenna Maroney in the NBC satirical comedy series "30 Rock," for which she was nominated for four Primetime Emmy Awards for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series.

Krakowski, who grew up in Parsippany and attended Parsippany High School, is being honored in the live theater/performance category of the walk. The Tony Award-winning Broadway actor won the role of Carla Albanese in the 2003 revival of "Nine."
As a child, Krakowski was immersed in the local theater scene because her mother was a college theater instructor and the producing artistic director for the Women's Theater Company.

Krakowski made her feature film debut as Cousin Vicki Johnson in the road comedy "National Lampoon's Vacation," which was followed by roles in "The Flintstones in Viva Rock Vegas," "Ice Age," "Open Season, "Pixels," and "The Willoughbys."
Other actors nominated in the 2024 class include Chadwick Boseman, the star of Marvel's Black Panther, who will receive a posthumous star after passing away in August 2020. More additions to the motion picture category are stars such as Gal Gadot, Michelle Yeoh, Chris Pine, Maggie Gyllenhaal, and Kevin Feige.
A date for Krakowski's star ceremony, during which her star will be unveiled, is yet to be set.
