PARSIPPANY, NJ — Three incumbents will be met with a pair of challengers in the race for Parsippany Board of Education as five residents have thrown their hat in the ring to serve. The Nov. 5 contest will have residents choosing who will fill three open seats.

Positions on school boards in towns in New Jersey are unpaid; board members help determine how educational resources and taxes are allocated and spent, and work with educators and administrators to plan the future of the district.

Below is a list of candidates running for the Board of Education, and a campaign slogan if they submitted one. All information comes from the Morris County Clerk's office, and these positions are three-year terms unless stated otherwise.
