Arrangements Set, Fundraiser Launched For Girl, 3, Who Drowned In Morris Lake
Sienna Maloney had 'spunky' personality, obituary says.

Funeral arrangements have been announced and a fundraiser launched for a three-year-old Morris County girl who drowned in Pequannock Valley Park earlier this week.
In her obituary, Sienna Maloney is described as being an adventurous, fun-loving little girl with a beautiful smile and “spunky” personality.
According to Pequannock Township police, a woman reported she could not find her young daughter at the park Monday afternoon. Lifeguards ordered everyone out of the water and began searching for the young girl.

The child was quickly located just before 4 p.m., police said. She was unresponsive and given CPR on the beach.

“There is nothing more devastating to a family then having to suffer the loss of a child,” Maloney’s GoFundMe page stated.
The fundraiser, with a goal of $25,000, has already reached in $19,796 from 398 donors in just one day, as of Thursday morning.

Maloney is survived by her parents, and a large extended family. Visitation is from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the M. John Scanlan Funeral Home in Pompton Plains. A funeral mass will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at Our Lady of Perpetual Help in Oakland, with interment to follow at Maryrest Cemetery in Mahwah.
