PARSIPPANY, NJ — With more than 30 years in operation, Chand Palace has established itself as one of the most dependable Indian restaurants in town, and Mayor James Barberio recently recognized that accomplishment.

This week, the mayor presented a proclamation to owner Manan Saxena on the occasion of the 35th anniversary of Chand Palace, which is located at 257 Littleton Road.

Chand Palace is best known among the community for its daily lunch and dinner buffet, which features a revolving selection of the restaurant's most popular dishes. The buffet menu changes daily, so diners are always treated to new surprises with each visit, officials said.

According to Chand Palace, the cornerstone of their cuisine is traditional North and South Indian recipes that have been handed down from generation to generation.
