Morris County Man, 24, Falls To His Death From Hotel Scaffolding

Connor Cummings was attempting to take photos from New York City hotel, reports say.

ROCKAWAY, N.J. – “Photography buff” Connor Cummings fell nine stories from a wet piece of scaffolding at the Four Seasons Hotel in Manhattan Wednesday, and died from his injuries.

Cummings, 24, of Rockaway, was with an 18-year-old friend at the hotel when the pair climbed scaffolding to get better positioning for photos, abc7ny.com reported.

According to his Facebook page, Cummings is a psychology major at University of Massachusetts Amherst, where he enrolled in 2014, and graduated Morris Knolls High School.

The Four Seasons Hotel is located on East 57th Street in midtown. Cummings and his friend, who has not been identified, used the scaffolding to climb to the top of the 52-story hotel, nypost.com reported. Cummings fell nine stories to a lower rooftop where he was pronounced dead.
