Car Fire, Downed Poles Close Parsippany Roadway
Detours are in place to accommodate the situation, officials said.

PARSIPPANY, NJ — A major roadway in Parsippany is closed due to a vehicle fire and several downed poles, according to police.
Parsippany police announced at 1:55 p.m. that Parsippany Boulevard at Route 46 is closed. It is not yet clear when the roadway will be opened.

Route 202 North is being diverted to Route 46 East, and Route 202 South is being diverted to Route 46 West, police said.
It is unclear if anyone is injured at this time.
