Construction To Close Roads, Alter Traffic In Parsippany This Week

Road paving projects Wednesday through Friday will cause “significant” delays in Parsippany, police announced.

Halsey Road between Quaker Road and Summit Road is closed Wednesday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. for construction, police said.

Over the next few days a road widening project at the intersection of Parsippany Road and Route 202 will also begin, and once started the construction will last approximately two days.

“Significant delays are possible since lanes will be closed or shifted to accommodate the construction,” police said. Motorists are urged to plan alternate routes.
