DWI Crash Leads To Parsippany Woman’s Arrest, Police Say
Police spotted empty alcohol containers in the woman's car, authorities said.
PARSIPPANY, NJ — A Parsippany woman was arrested recently after driving drunk and causing a crash in Hanover, police said.
On Oct. 4, police responded to a car crash on Park Avenue in Hanover.
An officer noticed “signs of impairment” from one of the drivers involved in the crash and spotted open alcohol containers in her car.

Authorities said police conducted field sobriety tests on the 23-year-old driver, who did not pass. It was determined that she was drunk while behind the wheel at the time of the crash, police said.
The woman was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated and refusal to submit breath samples, as well as several other traffic offenses.

She was later released and issued a court date.
