Farmers Market Wraps Up Season In Parsippany This Week

PARSIPPANY, NJ — As October comes to a close, so does the township's weekly farmer's market, which was brought back to town this year.

The Township of Parsippany-Troy Hills decided to reinstate a weekly market after multiple failed attempts, enabling the neighborhood to stock up on the best locally produced goods from New Jersey farmers and specialty vendors.

The market at Veteran's Memorial Park on Route 46 will be revived by the township council this year, with new features that they hope will help keep it running for years to come.

The market, which has been appearing in town weekly at 2 p.m. every Friday since June 9, will officially close for the season on Oct. 27, according to township officials.

Market vendors span fresh foods, beverages, baked goods, prepared food trucks, sauces, pet goods, home and beauty supplies and interactive local business vendors. Local names include Jerzey Girl Pickles, Paolo’s Kitchen, Wagner Family Farm and more.
