PARSIPPANY, NJ — A recent Parsippany High School graduate, who died unexpectedly Jan. 16, had a "heart of gold," her family says.

Aniajh Bermudez, 21, graduated from Parsippany High School in 2020 and was enrolled at the County College of Morris, her obituary says. She loved working with children and worked at the Learning Experience, a daycare in Parsippany.

"Our 'Cookie' has passed away," says a GoFundMe page supporting Bermudez's family. "Cookie was only 21 and had so much life to live. She was loving, fun, and caring but most importantly selfless. A young lady with a heart of gold."
