PARSIPPANY, NJ — All Parsippany-Troy Hills Schools will be on a 2-hour delayed opening schedule on Wednesday due to weather conditions, the district announced on Tuesday night.

"Due to the frigid temperatures and freeze overnight, the Parsippany-Troy Hills Schools will have a 2-hour delayed opening Wednesday, Jan. 17th. There will be no AM SKIP," the district said.

In Morris County, temperatures are expected to drop to around 14 degrees on Tuesday night.

"Untreated water and slush will almost certainly become rock-hard by morning as temps drop well into the teens across most of the area tonight," the National Weather Service Mount Holly office said Tuesday evening. "In addition, winds will make it feel 10-15 degrees colder! Bundle up!"
