Kids Can Explore Variety Of Vehicles At 'Touch A Truck' In Parsippany

Police cars, dump trucks, ambulances, cranes, and even a hot air balloon will be at this event held by the Greater Parsippany Kiwanis Club.

Children can meet with local emergency services and learn more about the equipment they use. Other activities include hot air balloon rides, music, bubbles, and face painting. Food will be available for purchase, and parents/guardians can get a child ID.

PARSIPPANY, NJ — Curious kids can see emergency vehicles, construction equipment, and other machines up close at an upcoming "Touch-a-Truck" event in Parsippany.

Kiwanis Club of Greater Parsippany is inviting local families to stop by the event, which they described as "a great learning experience for children of all ages" to meet with local emergency services and learn more about the equipment they use.

Touch-a-Truck will be on Saturday, June 15 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Liquid Church (299 Webro Road, Parsippany, NJ 07054). Admission is $5 per person, and there will be a $20 maximum per family.

Children can explore police cars, ambulances, fire trucks, a helicopter, cranes, dump trucks, buses, and much more.

Other highlights include hot air balloon rides, a DJ playing music, bubbles, and face painting. Food will be available for purchase, and parents/guardians can pick up a child ID.
