Mail Drop Box Broken Into In Parsippany, Police Say
The break-in remains under investigation.

PARSIPPANY, NJ — A United States Postal Service dropbox was broken into in Parsippany last week, Parsippany police said.
The mailbox, located outside of the Lake Hiawatha Post Office, was broken into sometime between 8 p.m. on Aug. 23 and 6:45 a.m. on Aug. 24, police said. Mail was stolen from inside the dropbox.
Morris County Sheriff’s Office Crime Scene Investigations Unit and the US Postal Police were both informed. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Parsippany Police Department’s Investigative Division at 973-263-4311.
