Man In Custody After Barricading Himself In Parsippany: Prosecutor
Incident occurred early Thursday morning, no injuries reported.

PARSIPPANY, N.J. – One man is in custody after allegedly barricading himself in a Parsippany apartment early Thursday morning, the Morris County Prosecutor’s Office announced.
Authorities were notified of an incident around 3:30 a.m. at the Lakeview Garden Apartments on Reservoir Road in the township involving a barricaded person, Morris County Prosecutor Fredric Knapp said.
Multiple law enforcement agencies responded to the scene to assist, and one male was taken into custody, Knapp said. No one else was injured, but the prosecutor’s office would not say if anyone else was involved in the incident.

The area is secure and there is no threat to the community, Knapp said, and the investigation is ongoing.
