Man Traded Photos of 'Intimate Parts' With Morris County Girl, 8: Prosecutor
Pennsylvania man used messaging app to hide identity, send pictures to alleged victim, authorities report.

A Pennsylvania man has been arrested and charged with three offenses for allegedly using a cellphone app to send photos of his genitals to an 8-year-old girl in Morris County, Prosecutor Fredric Knapp announced.
A joint investigation between the Parsippany Police and prosecutor’s office lead to the arrest of Matthew Maire, 25, of Butler, Pennsylvania, Knapp said.
Maire allegedly sent photos of his “intimate parts” to a victim, an 8-year-old girl, and requested and received photos of the same kind from the child, Knapp said.

Their contact lasted one day and was done through SayHi, a cellphone messenger app, Knapp said.
Maire identified himself as “Tyler” with a screen name of “mcoolmanpa” in the app.

He was charged with endangering the welfare of a child – causing a child to engage in child pornography; one count of endangering the welfare of a child; and one count of obscenity for persons under 18.
