Montville Bridge Closure Starting Next Week
The road closure will be in effect for about six weeks.

MONTVILLE, NJ — The Brook Valley Road bridge closure is set to begin in Montville next Monday, and the road will stay closed for six weeks, county officials said.
The bridge is located between Surprise Lake and the Taylortown Reservoir. It will be closed to all regular traffic as repairs are made to address deterioration. Because the bridge is still safe to drive over, an exceptions to the closure is being made for school busses and other school vehicles.
The closures are expected to wrap up on Oct. 1. Total project costs are expected to be $210,000, and it will be paid for by the county.
