More Details Revealed After Morris County Explosion
Police are still investigating an incident in Parsippany where a beer can with an explosive substance inside was detonated: authorities.

PARSIPPANY, N.J.– No one was injured after a beer can with an explosive substance inside was detonated in the area of Allentown and Marmora roads in Parsippany on Sunday night, authorities said.
"It appears at this time that this is an isolated incident with no apparent threat to the community," said Morris County Prosecutor's Office spokesman Paul Merkler.

The responding units – which included the Morris County Sheriff's Department Bomb Squad and K-9 – found the remnants of a small rudimentary device located in the roadway, said Parsippany Public Information Officer Brian Conover.
The explosion happened around 9 p.m., according to Conover.

The incident is still under investigation.
