Mountain Creek Opening For 2018-2019 Season This Weekend

Skiers, it's almost time to hit the slopes again!

VERNON, NJ — Ski season is back at Mountain Creek: the popular North Jersey ski resort is opening for the 2018-2019 winter season this weekend.

Season pass and triple play holders will get a preview day on Friday, Dec. 14 on the south peak; the south peak and the Vernon peak will open to everyone on Saturday, Dec. 15. Snow tubing will open to the public the next weekend, on Dec. 22.

The ski resort has opened this weekend in December the past several years.

“We are so excited to open again for the winter season. Our whole team, and especially our snowmakers and groomers, have been working around-the-clock to take advantage of the awesome conditions we’ve been given this year. We’ve had a lot of fun getting the mountain ready for a great season of skiing, snowboarding and tubing,” said Hugh Reynolds, Vice President of Marketing & Sales, Mountain Creek. “With an early start to the season this winter, we look forward to sharing the first of many snow days with our guests starting this Friday.”

Looking for a job? The resort is holding a job fair on Dec. 20 from 4 p.m. t0 6 p.m., and is looking to fill a variety of positions, ranging from dining to lift operations to ski patrol.
