New Argentine Restaurant, Golf Shop Open In Parsippany

Asado Argentine Grill's menu includes favorites from the original Tino's Portuguese BBQ; The Morris Golf Shop has a wide range of equipment.

PARSIPPANY, NJ — Two new businesses have opened up in Parsippany recently: A golf shop in Lake Hiawatha, and an under-new-management restaurant that will serve Argentine and Portuguese cuisine.

Mayor James Barberio and local officials stopped by to welcome Asado Argentine Grill at 228 Littleton Road and The Morris Golf Shop at 96 North Beverwyck Road with ribbon-cutting ceremonies in recent weeks.

Asado is in the building formerly known as Tino's Portuguese BBQ, and will combine favorites from Tino's with cuisine from Argentina, the home country of new owner Humberto Juarez. He and his wife Karen joined the mayor and several council members on Feb. 17.
