New Bakery Opens On Rt. 46 In Parsippany

Mayor James Barberio welcomed Atul Bakery and its owners on Friday, Aug. 2 with a ribbon cutting to celebrate the opening.

PARSIPPANY, NJ – A new, spacious gourmet bakery opened its doors in Parsippany last Friday.

The owners of Atul Bakery, Atul Vekariya, Lav Patel, and Pinal Patel, set up their fourth New Jersey location at 1446 Route 46 in Parsippany.

Mayor James Barberio was present at the bakery's ribbon cutting celebration last Friday, where he offered his support to the business.

“I would like to welcome Atul, Lav, and Pinal to Parsippany,” said Mayor Barberio in a Facebook post. “We have a wonderfully diverse community here and I’m sure you will be very successful!”

The menu consists of fresh baked items ranging from puffs, cakes, snacks, sandwiches, and more. Atul Bakery is open every day from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m.

Atul Bakery first opened in India back in 2007, where it currently has 270 locations throughout. Edison, North Brunswick, and Jersey City are home to the other three locations in New Jersey.
