New Indian Eatery Opens Up In Parsippany Neighborhood

The eatery offers take-out and delivery options.

PARSIPPANY, NJ — A new restaurant offering authentic Indian cuisine has opened its doors in Parsippany.

This weekend, Pakvaan II Indian Desi Spice Restaurant and Catering opened its doors at 20a North Beverwyck Road in Lake Hiawatha with a ribbon-cutting ceremony.

Several township officials, including Mayor James Barberio, welcomed owner Sanjay Patel and wished him and his team luck.

“Best of luck to you,” said Barberio. “I hope you have many successful years here in Parsippany.”

This is Pakvaan Desi Spice’s newest NJ location, with the original being located in Edison. The eatery prides itself on using authentic recipes and ingredients.

“Savor the vibrant flavors of India right here in Lake Hiawatha, NJ, with Pakvaan II Desi Spice Take Out & Catering,” its site reads. “Our menu is a delightful symphony of traditional Indian cuisines, crafted to tantalize your taste buds. From spicy curries to succulent kebabs, each dish promises an unforgettable culinary journey.”

The menu offers traditional Indian delights including Paneer Tikka Masala, Samosas, and Channa Pindi. In addition to a wide selection of vegan and vegetarian options, the establishment serves Indo-Chinese cuisine as well, offering items like Momos, Schezwan Noodles, and more.

The take-out restaurant operates from Tuesday to Thursday from 3 to 9 p.m., and Friday through Sunday from 11:30 a.m. to 9 p.m.
