New Latin Inspired Eatery Opens In Parsippany

La Plancha, a Latin-inspired restaurant featuring a Colombian-focused menu, has recently opened its doors to the Parsippany community.

PARSIPPANY, NJ — A new addition to the Parsippany dining scene recently received a warm welcome from local officials during an official ribbon-cutting celebration held last week.

La Plancha, a Latin-inspired restaurant located on North Beverwyck Road in Parsippany, held its grand opening celebration, inviting Mayor James Barberio and local officials to come and officially welcome the new business.

“Welcome to Parsippany, it’s great to add a new cuisine to Lake Hiawatha,” Barberio said. “I wish you much success and many years in business.”

The restaurant offers authentic Latin American cuisine, with a focus on Colombian dishes. The menu features coffee, pastries, breakfast skillets, lunch entrees, sandwiches and salads.

Appetizers include wings, baked chicken, fried squid, and mini empanadas (available in beef or chicken). They also offer a variety of tostones (or patacones), which are slices of green plantains that are fried, smashed, and fried again until crispy.

La Plancha is located at 44 North Beverwyck Road. You can reach them at +1 862-346-430. The restaurant's business hours are Monday through Thursday from 6:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., Friday and Saturday from 6:30 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., and Sunday from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
