Snow and icy roads could affect the Thursday morning commute, according to forecasters. Here's the latest:
NEW JERSEY — If you're driving to work Thursday morning, you may want to factor in snow into your commute. While forecasters only expect 1-2 inches of accumulation — with 3 inches possible — the snow and rain could result in icy roads affecting morning traffic.
New Jersey will primarily see rain along a cold front Wednesday night, but the shift to snow could occur around sunrise at 7:16 a.m. Thursday, according to the National Weather Service.
Accumulation is expected to mostly range from 1 to 2 inches of snow, but the timing could interfere with the morning drive. But parts of North Jersey could see local snowfalls of 3 inches, the National Weather Service said.
