NJ's Best Mexican Food Is At This Parsippany Eatery, Report Says

PARSIPPANY, NJ — Looking for excellent Mexican food in the Garden State? With so many great spots across New Jersey, you're bound to get a different recommendation every time you ask.

But one restaurant right here in Parsippany has earned a spot among the best Mexican eateries in New Jersey for 2025, according to a recent report.

The website Best of NJ put together a list of the best Mexican restaurants in New Jersey, and Parsippany's Milagros Southwest ranked as one of the top North Jersey spots.

"Milagros Southwest is immediately striking for its modern interior that would be at home inside a world-class resort," the website wrote.

Located at 3835 US-46 in Parsippany, Milagros Southwest has been serving the local community since opening its doors in 2022. Decorated with vibrant colors and bright lights, this Mexican hotspot features an extensive menu full of classic Mexican dishes.

Milagros Southwest offers a diverse selection of dishes, each featuring a unique twist on classic Mexican flavors. Popular menu items include Mexican Street Corn, topped with mayo, cotija cheese, and tajín; Skirt Steak Tacos, served with avocado mousse, pickled onions, cilantro, salsa verde, and salsa taquera; and the Birria Pappardelle, which combines fresh pasta, braised short ribs, mushrooms, a touch of cream, and fresh burrata mozzarella.

The restaurant also features a bottomless brunch menu, offering dishes like French Toast Bites, Pancake Tacos, and classic savory Huevos Rancheros.

Milagros Southwest also offers catering services for your next event, providing both half-tray and full-tray options for private, off-premises gatherings. Guests can customize the menu to suit their preferences.

Milagros Southwest is open from 11:30 a.m. to 11 p.m. on Monday through Thursday. On Friday and Saturday, the restaurant stays open until midnight, with a DJ after 9 p.m. On Sunday, hours are from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.
