Bomb Threat Evacuates Par Hills High, Deemed Unfounded
Students were removed from the building for approximately 30 minutes Wednesday morning.

Students and faculty were evacuated from Parsippany Hills High School Wednesday morning while police investigated a “situation” at the school, authorities said.
That situation turned out to be a bomb threat, police said. After an investigation by Parsippany Police and the Morris County Sheriff’s Office, the threat was deemed unfounded.
Students were allowed back inside the building just before 10 a.m. after approximately 30 minutes of being outside the building.

Parsippany police released a statement around 9:30 a.m. stating students were being safely evacuated as a safety precaution, and officers were on scene and securing the area.
Police have not said if charges against anyone are being pursued.
