Par Troy East Softball Minors Enter Playoffs; All Stars Announced

Playoff 1 saw Paul Miller beat Quick Chek, in an edge-of-your seat game, as girls on both sides showed strong skills.

Tuesday, June 5th marked the first game in the playoffs for Par-Troy East (PTE) Girls Softball Minors, as team Paul Miller hosted team Quick Chek at the PTE complex for the best of 3 tournament.

The bats were out (softball bats that is), as Paul Miller won 10-3, with 13 hits, 3 strike outs & 4 walks. Team Quick Chek put up a strong fight, with 6 hits, 5 strike outs and 2 walks. Kathryn Montecuollo went 2-2 with 4RBIs, while Haley Kosovitz, Alyssa Corforte, Mackenzie Sibilia and Bella Stewart also went 2-2. Charlotte Inauen went 1-1.

Heavy hitters for Team Quick Chek included Jasmine Booker who bat 2-3 and Arianna Crum who hit 2-2. Jayah Curtis and Sydney Burke batted 500, rounding off an overall great night for PTE Softball Minors.

Game 2 (and, possibly 3) will be held on Saturday, June 9th starting at 9:30 am at the PTE Complex on Eileen Court. PTE's first annual All Star Day will also take place on June 9th at their complex honoring those selected to compete this summer in the Little League All Stars.
