At the county level, Parsippany resident and former councilman John Cesaro is seeking re-election to the Morris County Board of Chosen Freeholders in the Republican party. He’s joined by Deborah Smith and Christine Myers.
Democrats Richard Escobar, Brendan Liam Keating, and Webster Lewin are also seeking three-year terms.
The county also went full Republican, giving Cesaro, Myers, and Smith the go-ahead for three-year terms beginning in 2016. Not all districts were reporting as of press time, but the Republican candidates had an insurmountable lead with 373 of 396 district reporting.
