Parsippany Biz Owner, Grandfather Dies At 74

Donato DeMartinis leaves behind a wife, two children, and three grandchildren.

PARSIPPANY, N.J. – Donato DeMartinis was a devoted business man and family man.

The Parsippany resident of 11 years died recently at the age of 74.

DeMartinis was born in Italy and settled in Orange, New Jersey in 1961. He lived in East Hanover for 28 years before moving to Parsippany in 2005.

DeMartinis was the owner and operator of Troy Hills Landscaping, formerly known as DeMartinis Landscapaing in Parsippany for 35 years. He also worked for the Newark Board of Education as a custodian for 18 years before retiring in January 2015.

He is survived by his wife, Maria, of nearly 50 years; two children, and three grandchildren.
