Parsippany Great-Grandmother, Resident Of Half-A-Century Dies At 88

PARSIPPANY, N.J. – Joyce Gibbons knew Morris County in and out, having settled in Parsippany more than 50 years ago and working at one of the area’s most famous stores for decades.

The grandmother of three died recently at the age of 88.

Gibbons moved to Parsippany in 1964 and worked at Epstein’s Department Store in Morristown as Head of Sales Audit for more than 30 years before retiring in 2004.

She was predeceased by her husband, J. Joseph, and a daughter, Linda Badalementi. She is survived by a granddaughter, three great-grandchildren and a large extended family.

A funeral service is being held at 10 a.m. Saturday, March 12, 2016 at Restland Memorial Park Chapel on DeForest Avenue in East Hanover with visitation at 9:30 a.m. at Restland Memorial Park.
