Parsippany Hills Gears Up For Another Football Season

The season will kick off with a home game vs. Roxbury High School this Friday.

PARSIPPANY, NJ — The new school year is rapidly approaching, and with it, another football season for the Parsippany Hills Vikings.

The official start of the season ‘kicked off’ on Tuesday, with the traditional motorcade, featuring buses filled with players, cheerleaders, and pep band members, rolling through the streets of Parsippany.

Escorted by police cars, the buses made their way to Senior Vikings’ homes where the band performed, cheerleaders previewed some routines, and players psyched each other up for what they're hoping is a successful season.

Attending the celebration was Mayor James Barberio, who played football for the Vikings himself back in the day.

“I always enjoy this event. It brings back fond memories of my high school days as a Viking football player,” Barberio said. “I also enjoy seeing everyone who comes out to support the team, cheerleaders, and band. I wish everyone a successful season!”
