Parsippany Joins U.S. Club Soccer As Licensed Clubs

Parsippany SC is one of nine new clubs.

PARSIPPANY, NJ - U.S. Club Soccer, a member of the U.S. Soccer Federation and the leading organization developing soccer clubs across America, has chosen nine new clubs as Players First licensed, bringing the total to 90 clubs in 25 states.

And one if from Parsippany.

“We believe this to be the most rigorous and comprehensive attempt in U.S. Soccer history to identify those clubs that have demonstrated a commitment to creating the kind of infrastructure and culture necessary to provide the best overall environment for players,” said U.S. Club Soccer CEO Kevin Payne.

When clubs apply to become Players First licensed, they’re extensively reviewed by U.S. Club Soccer. Then, they’re either approved in the same term of which they applied, or their applications remain open for up to six months to allow them to meet any additional requirements necessary for licensing.

To date, about one-third of all approved clubs have been accepted after their initial evaluations required them to raise standards. T

As youth soccer’s “Good Housekeeping Seal,” these nine clubs immediately take this newfound recognition into their communities and nationally, standing out as pioneers in improving the club soccer experience. The newly-licensed organizations include:

  • Cavalry Youth Soccer (College Station, Texas)
  • Eagleclaw FC (Seattle, Wash.)
  • FC Copa Academy (Metuchen)
  • Florida Rush (Orlando, Fla.)
  • Livermore Fusion SC (Livermore, Calif.)
  • Norman YS/Oklahoma Celtic (Norman, Okla.)
  • Parsippany SC (Parsippany)
  • St. James FC Virginia (Ashburn, Va.)
  • Titans FC North Texas (Addison, Texas)

In addition to this nationally recognized stamp of approval, these clubs also receive more access and special benefits from Players First partners and resources, numerous features on U.S. Club Soccer digital and social channels, customizable content and more.
