Free Car Seat Installation Checks In Parsippany Saturday
Par Troy EMS and Mayor James Barberio are sponsoring a free check of car seat installation.

Car seats aren't just mandatory requirements to keep your kid from crawling around when you're trying to drive. The proper use of a car seat can save lives and reduce injuries and car crashes are the number one cause of death in children over the age of six months in the United States. With such a large statistic, Parsippany wants to lend a helping hand and ensure that parents don't have their car seats installed the wrong way.
Presently, 25% of all child car seats are used incorrectly, so getting the car seat installation checked in Parsippany on Saturday, September 17 is a good idea. Even better, the event is free. Certified Child Passenger Safety Technicians will be on hand to inspect your car seat for proper installation, fit, and use from 1 to 4 PM at Parsippany Town Hall, located at 1001 Parsippany Boulevard.
